The Court House Players will perform Noel Coward’s smart, beloved comedy classic Blithe Spirit  as a dinner theater March 28-30 with a show only on March 31 at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews.

The smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic from the playwright of Private Lives offers up fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, remarried but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira who is called up by a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati. As the (worldly and unworldly) personalities clash, Charles’ current wife, Ruth, is accidentally killed, “passes over,” joins Elvira, and the two “blithe spirits” haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.

We're excited about bringing the Missoula Children's Theatre camps back to our area this coming summer!

Missoula Children’s Theatre camps are a week-long summer day camp experience run by professional actors for up to 60 children.  Children audition on Monday morning, are assigned parts before lunch, and begin rehearsals by that same afternoon.  After a week of rehearsals, they present a full children’s theater performance (usually a fairy tale with a twist!) complete with costumes, props, and sets by Saturday.

Our two camps this year will be:

July 8-13, Snow White at Mathews High School

and

July 15-20, The Emperor’s New Clothes at St. Clare Walker Middle School.
