About the show
Based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years and is now adapted for young performers.
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.

Featuring the iconic songs, “I'm Flying” “I've Gotta Crow,” “I Won't Grow Up” and “Never Never Land,” and a rousing book full of magic, warmth and adventure, Peter Pan JR. is the perfect show for the child in all of us... who dreamed of soaring high and never growing up. Peter Pan JR. is a dream come true for groups looking to bring magic to their stage and entertain countless families

The 2020 MCT shows will be Sleeping Beauty and The Snow Queen

The shows for the 2020 Missoula Children's Theatre camps will be Sleeping Beauty from July 6 - 11 at Mathews High School in Mathews and The Snow Queen from July 13 - 18 at St. Clare Walker Middle School in Middlesex, so be sure to save the dates!

Our early-bird registration event will be held at Newington Baptist Church on Main Street in Gloucester, VA on Thursday,  March 12th from 5 p.m.  to 7 p.m.  Please note our new location for registration this year!  We'll be there with registration forms, financial aid request forms, and information  sheets. Payment for the camp is due at the time of registration in the form of cash or check made out to Court House Players: $85 for one student, $75 for any additional siblings.  A few partial scholarships are available for eligible families.

Our regular registration will open on Friday,  March 13th.  The registration forms will be posted on this website that morning so they can be completed and mailed in.  Please note that these camps fill very quickly (often within an hour or two of opening registration) and slots are available on a first-come/first-served basis.  So please register quickly!

For questions about registration,  please contact our registrar, Heather King:

The Missoula Children’s Theatre camps provide a week-long summer day camp experience run by professional actors for up to 60 children. Children audition on Monday morning, are assigned parts before lunch, and begin rehearsals by that same afternoon. On Saturday, after a week of rehearsals, they present two performances (usually a fairy tale with a twist!), complete with costumes, props, and sets.

We have two summer day camps each year, one in Mathews and one in Middlesex. They are open to children who have completed grades K-12 and who are committed to attending all week.

Workshops begin each morning  at 9:30 a.m. Children ages 5 to 7 stay until noon, while children who are at least 8 years old by the Monday that camp begins stay until 2 p.m. All students bring a packed lunch.

Additional mini workshops are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, lasting until 3:00 p.m. for those who participate

Performances are always open to the public.  Tickets are available at the door for cash or check: $5 for children 4 and over, $7 for adults.  (Children 3 and under are free).
